    In this dynamic and increasingly hyper-competitive world, it is vital to respond to changes in the external and internal environments. Emertxe supported its students by extending their access to virtual training programs and placement opportunities.

     

    Emertxe also supported its placement counterparts through their transition in the embedded systems ecosystem with virtual recruitment and onboarding. This response to change was noticed across the board in companies in the embedded systems domain, irrespective of their size, whether a multinational or startup.

    Despite the speculations surrounding the duration of the pandemic, all companies learned that being ‘digital first’ would be vital to their success and stability in the market. However, even the digital-first strategy comes with the caveat, as pointed out by Forbes’ article that states “strategies in today’s digital era should be guided by a people-first mindset”. The key takeaway from 2020 was that change is inevitable and the sooner people-centric change is embraced, the sooner its rewards can be reaped for the betterment of society on the whole. 

    Placements 2021 (January - June)

    • January 2021: 11 companies hired Emertxe trained embedded engineers.
    • February 2021: The number of hiring companies more than doubled to 24.
    • Despite the second wave of Coronavirus with a record death toll of 26 million cases, Emertxe placements remained consistent.
    • Emertxe established virtual hiring processes, ensuring safe and smooth placements during the pandemic.
    • Regular online training and lab support sessions were provided to students alongside placements.

    Companies Embrace the Digital-First Approach

    All sizes of companies responded with a digital-first approach aligning with their production plans. They began hiring Emertxe’s professionally trained embedded engineers once again. Notable names like Robert Bosch, Tata Elxsi, Honeywell, Harman, NXP Semiconductors, and Qualcomm, along with medium-sized companies, resumed hiring Emertxe’s embedded engineers.

    Typically placements for our Online Embedded Systems Course Students at Emertxe start in 3rd or 4th month onward once students complete programming languages modules (Programming in C / C++ modules).
